Tosif Chouhan, Esq.

Mr. Chouhan heads up the the Johnson | Dalal Atlanta office and focuses on all aspects of intellectual property prosecution and litigation. Tosif is a native of Georgia and proudly calls Atlanta, “Home.” He attended Georgia State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management Insurance and Business Management. Tosif got his first exposure to the legal world while working for one of the largest insurance companies in the world for over 2 years. He then attended law school at Nova Southeastern University located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to joining Johnson | Dalal, Tosif worked as a Trial Attorney for the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office for 5 years. While at that office, Tosif handled over 2,000 Felony cases and tried over a dozen trials through verdict. Tosif has been involved in a number of high profile media cases the majority of which have yielded favorable results. Mr. Chouhan has zealously represented clients including indigent citizens, business owners, athletes and celebrities all equally and with great success. Tosif has been recognized on numerous occasions for his legal skills and accomplishments. Tosif was selected as Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers in 2017. Tosif was awarded the ISB Top 40 under 40 award in 2016 for his contributions to the Atlanta community, Tosif is a Graduate of Gideon’s Promise class of 2013 a rigorous 3 year program focusing on the zealous representation of clients. Tosif Chouhan is regularly invited as a guest speaker at various conferences throughout the Southeast to share his knowledge and experience in practicing law. He has been invited to speak at The University of Georgia School of Law, John Marshall Law School, The State Bar of Georgia, Nova Southeastern University School of Law and other respected institutions. Additionally, Chouhan speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi and is active in various charitable organizations in the Atlanta community. In his free time, Mr. Chouhan enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
