Michael Julian, Esq. is the dedicated Probate, Trust, and Guardianship Litigation Partner at Johnson Dalal, where he brings his extensive litigation experience to the firm’s Guardianship and Estate Administration Practice Group. With a focus on fraud, breaches of fiduciary duties, exploitation of the elderly and disabled, embezzlement, neglect, abuses of Powers of Attorney, and improper actions of trustees, Michael has become known for his aggressive approach to probate, trust, and guardianship litigation with an emphasis on rapid resolutions brought about with trial ready complaints.
Michael's reputation stems from his prior experience as a felony trial prosecutor, which has shaped his investigative methods and trial techniques. His ability to both investigate and litigate complex cases involving financial misconduct, elder abuse, and fiduciary breaches has been a driving force behind his success. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for justice, Michael works tirelessly to protect the rights of vulnerable individuals and ensure accountability in guardianship and estate-related disputes.
Education and Early Career
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he majored in Aerospace Studies and minored in Business Administration, International Relations, and Humanities. His academic journey continued internationally, earning an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) from Hochschule Bremen University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and a Master of Science in Global Business (MSc.GB) from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
A commitment to public service led Michael to Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. During law school, he was recognized as a Gold Cord recipient for his dedication to pro bono work, including his internship with the Homicide Trial Unit of the Office of the State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Upon graduation, Michael became a Misdemeanor Trial Prosecutor, later advancing to the role of Felony Trial Prosecutor.
As a prosecutor, Michael developed innovative investigative strategies for intercepting and preserving clandestine phone communications within correctional facilities, leading to successful convictions that otherwise would have otherwise remained elusive.
